![]() ![]() NOW I am working in a management position at a Fortune 500 company. Sad for me because I was the NUMBER ONE rated person in the rental returns area. I had problems with their calls going straight to my email and they couldn’t leave me a message. I kept getting voicemails when I called them to explain my health issues. They said that they tried to get ahold of me. ![]() I am not welcome back because there was a communication problem with my management team and me. Because of health issues beyond my control I had to leave. I didn’t see a family friendly atmosphere. The managers I worked with were for the most part awesome, but because of the long hours they were basically married to their job. Young kids expected to work at least 50 hours a week for good money. That is what bothered me about Enterprise. MANY people that I have worked over the years were book smart but they couldn’t convert that knowledge into a business environment. It means that you sat in a classroom 4 years more than people receiving a high school diploma. ![]() It has been my experience over the years that just having a college degree doesn’t make you smarter. I retired early because of company layoffs. You NEED a college degree to get into management? I have an internal college degree working at AT&T and I worked my way up to a management position with 8 managers reporting to me. It was an awesome experience and I enjoyed my job immensely. But instead someone has to submit an ethical complaint to compliance committee anonymously for them to actually do anything.I loved working at Enterprise. Enterprise HoldingsEnterprise Rent-A-CarAlamo Rent A Car and National Car Rental seeks and values people of all backgrounds because every. I just wish that the corporate offices and higher ups would really show they cared here and there. Enterprise employee handbook enterprise rent a car rates are adequately covered by esu employees are permitted only accepted the title iii policy with the neighborhoods and lee university. The money is good and it’s the only reason I have stuck around. The work life balance is absolutely terrible. I get to see my family 1 day a week and sometimes not even a whole day. I haven’t missed a day of work even if sick in the same amount of time. I haven’t taken a vacation in almost a year. I could have just myself and 2 other people and be being asked why not everything is done in the middle of a daily rush. My personal experience currently is never knowing what day I’ll be yelled at due to not being absolutely perfect on absolutely everything. They hope they would shape the place up but have only made things worse. The Area Managers they bring into the area have been poor choices. My current region has an issue with keep managers and personnel in general. Branch managers are expected to work a minimum of 6 days a week. If you have a family, you’ll never get to see them. This is the perfect job for someone straight out of college with no kids or family to care for. ![]()
